Our Wish List
i figured i might as well get on the ball about this; i already ask the Lord for these items regularly (as noted in this blog post) but figure that this might curb some of those random “well, what would you like for [insert 'your birthday' or any other holiday here]?” questions and other “what is one mildly irrational or unattainable thing you wish you had right now?” sorts of inquiries.
here goes the list:
DARIN’S DESIRES
mountain dew on tap quitting soft drinks, Lord-willing!
rubik’s cube 4×4 (~$20)
tools for guitar making ($thousands, but each tool is anywhere from $20 to $200)
to go to luthierie school, master’s program ($17,500 tuition)
guitar player repair guide, dan erlewine, 2007 edition (<$20 used) got it!
a house for a growing family ($thousands)
a yard with a dog (priceless)
KACIE’S WISH LIST
sewing machine (not terribly picky, just need the basic stitches)
victorio hand crank grain mill ($70 amazon)
a cast iron hand-crank meat grinder ($50-ish)
the baby book, william sears (<$20 used)
new stereo for the car (ours hasn’t worked in months… $120) sold the car, no need for stereo!
blank for our juicer so we can make baby food and other random things (<$10) baby-led weaning is way more fun and economical!
Moby wrap, black or moss green ($40-ish, unless homemade, then it’s only about $10 for material) got it!
ice cream of most kinds, especially ben & jerry’s or gelato (<$4) ben & jerry’s supports political things we don’t… boo!
an ice-cream maker (any southern girl is lost without one…$139-$199)
