Thanks for writing this. I just had a conversation with CJ that left me determined to start ingesting the fish juice. BUT... in the days that it has taken me to get out to the store, I have begun to question whether it was REALLY worth it. Reading your post has finalized me decision. And online shopping should help me follow through. :)

my pleasure! we use Premier Labs Quantum Cod Liver Oil, got the best deal at naturalhealthyconcepts(dot)com! the key is to find cold-pressed high-vitamin CLO (and if you can find it fermented, it's even better, but not totally necessary). just try not to buy the cheap stuff-- it won't do you any good!

Oh, my! I admire your ability to down that swill called cod liver oil. I have tried, because I believe it is an important dietary supplement, but it's basically liquid fish on a spoon........GAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I even bought the so-called "flavored" variety. Didn't help one bit!!! Maybe I'll screw up my courage to try again someday. Then again, just thinking about the possibility has me tasting fish! I haven't read "Real Food" yet. I'll have to look into that. I know God is going to bless your efforts to improve your family's health. : )

I agree with consuming raw milk completely..! I am from small town from India where I had luxury of having raw delicious fommy milk directly within few minutes after milking the cow. My granny used to make sure to give us last ounces of milk from cow that they says have all nutritions to provide calf like strength and health! She is still all nono with drinking the milk that last more than one day!

So glad to know that you are following these wonderful practice of having raw milk. Blessed family :)
