BUY THINGS FOR OUR BABY!

Ransom David is here!  If you are interested in providing practical gifts for him/her, please choose one of the following options:

1. We are cloth diapering.  While this does save us considerable amounts of money in the long run, it is indeed an initial investment.   If you would like to give according to this need, feel free to click this link for Paypal.

2. We are registered at Target.  Things we’d love to get the most include a nursing cover, a Moby wrap and/or baby sling, some BabyLegs, and a lot of simple clothing (onesies, Gerber shirts, PJs).  Keep in mind that babies grow out of newborn stuff in about two months, so feel free to consider the next size up in anything practical, just be sure to include a gift receipt.

3. We flat need a car seat.  There is one selected on our Target registry.  It is our favorite.  We hope someone gets it for us.  *Target seems to sometimes be out of the model we like, but Walmart has a similar one here.   Got it!

4. We are also registered at Happybottomus, a local store that has way cool stuff for folks who want to “do the natural parenting thing”.  We fell in love with this store…  you should, too.

5. And because sometimes things that are cheaper are cooler (yeah!), BabyLegs and other nifty things can be found here at ClothDiaperClearance, and we would probably love anything they have to offer [BabyLegs come in handy when cloth diapering for a number of reasons, and can actually be worn in some fashion through adulthood (they make great leg warmers until you hit mid-teens, then they can be used as supplemental arm warmers on cold-but-not-too-cold days)].

  1. So do you need both the car seat and the travel system? Or would the travel system cover everything?

  2. car seat is the goal; the travel system was more of a Darin-thing as he got to play with it and happened to be the carrier of the registry gun. i removed the travel system for now because we’re actually more into baby-wearing in the first place (Moby wraps, hot-slings, etc.). thanks for clarifying!
